Scottish Health Board NHS Grampian is returning to Australia this month to recruit more nurses following their initial success at the British Nursing Job Fairs.
The UK’s Nursing and Midwifery Council or NMC has announced today that it is making changes to the IELTS level or score required by overseas trained nurses seeking registration to work in the UK.
Scottish Health Board NHS Grampian has confirmed that 5 nurses recruited from Australia as part of the British Nursing Job Fairs have already started with a further 50 expected to follow.
The UK’s Nursing and Midwifery Council or NMC has announced that nurses and midwives trained outside the EU will be allowed to work in the UK immediately after qualifying.
In November 2017, NHS Grampian attended the British Nursing Job Fairs in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane alongside four other NHS Trusts including King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London.
