“I’ve been an occupational therapist for six years now and during this time I’ve worked in the fields of forensic mental health, learning disabilities and autism settings. I decided to become a Disability Assessor as I wanted to gain more experience within the community and also expand my knowledge of physical health conditions, while still utilising my core occupational therapy skills. I was also attracted to more flexible working and the potential of being based from home as I have two young children.
